BROOME COUNTY ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY

Location: Binghamton, New York

Job Information/Qualifications: The Broome County District Attorney’s Office is seeking qualified candidates for entry-level and level II Assistant District Attorney, and Senior Assistant District Attorney positions. Applicants must be admitted to and in good standing with the New York State Bar or be sitting for the next bar exam.

Starting Salary Range:

ADA 1  (entry-level) $92,023
Senior ADA  $125,893

Benefits: Membership in the NY State Retirement System, Broome County health benefits, paid vacation, sick days and holidays, and may qualify for State and Federal student loan forgiveness programs. All attorneys receive office issued Microsoft Surface Pro tablet and iPhone.   Experienced attorneys are eligible to cover nightly central arraignment part court for $75 per night and $200 per day on weekends.

Residency: Must be a Broome County resident or relocate to Broome County upon hiring.
