Essex County seeks applicants for the title of Assistant District Attorney. Duties include representing the County in prosecution of criminal cases that occur within the District Attorney’s geographical jurisdiction within Essex County.  Minimum qualifications are the possession of a license to practice law in the State of New York.  Full Time and Part-Time candidates will all be considered.

Qualifying candidate for the ADA position will handle criminal prosecutions at both town and county levels to include Grand Jury presentations, hearings and appeals.  Residency must be within the county or adjoining to Essex.

Salary: Full Time – $83,000 to $102,000.00 and will be based on experience.
