HERKIMER COUNTY ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY
Herkimer County seeks applicants for the title of full-time Assistant District Attorney effective immediately. Duties include representing the County in prosecution of criminal cases that occur within the District Attorney’s geographical jurisdiction. Minimum qualifications are the possession of a license to practice law in the State of New York, a Certificate of Good Standing from the Appellate Division and a valid NYS Driver’s License. Herkimer County OR contiguous county residency will be required throughout the appointment.

Starting salary for this position is $113,300/year, year 2 salary increases to $123,300/year and year 4 salary increases to $133,300/year. Prior time as a prosecutor may be factored into pay.
