
Ulster County District Attorney's Office
Sr. Felony Assistant District Attorney positions available. The ADA must have felony trial experience. The ADA will be expected to prosecute major crimes. The ADA will be required to participate in investigations and advise law enforcement personnel on major felony cases. The ADA may be assigned to other cases or projects at the discretion of the District Attorney, or any supervisory ADA designated by the DA. All ADAs are required to adhere to the highest ethical standards in their professional and personal conduct.
Requirements: Must be a J.D. graduate of an accredited United States Law School and licensed in the State of New York with 5+ years experience. Residency in Ulster County will be required within a reasonable length of time. Excellent writing and research skills are necessary. Felony criminal trial experience required. All applicants undergo security clearance. If the office is interested in an interview, writing samples, references, and other requirements may apply.
Salary and benefits: $100,000 +
Ulster County provides excellent medical, dental and vision benefits to its employees, and vacation and sick time based upon time in service. Employees are also enrolled in the New York State retirement system, and may participate in other benefits, including using Deferred Compensation.
